Former Whitefish Lady Bulldog Emily Sullivan has signed to play volleyball at Carroll College.

The 6-0 all-state performer attended Whitefish High School for her freshmen and sophomore year. She transferred to Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho to finish out her high school career.

As a sophomore at Whitefish, Sullivan led the Lady Dogs in hitting with 181 kills and 36 solo blocks.

“She is a workhorse, she strives to get better and wants to be coached,” said Carroll head volleyball coach Maureen Boyle. “I’ve been watching her for a few years through club and high school at Bishop Kelly. She is always pushing to make her team better. I am excited to have the chance to coach her.”

Sullivan was a four-time all-conference team member and was the 2014 conference MVP while at Bishop Kelly.

Along with volleyball she was also a state champion swimmer in 2012 in the breaststroke and freestyle.

Academically she had a strong career with a 3.94 GPA and academic all-state honors all four years.

“I have always had a good connection to Montana and I cannot wait to return for the next four years,” Sullivan said. “Carroll’s academic excellence, small class sizes, beautiful campus, community involvement and community support of the school and athletics all stood out to me during the recruiting process.”
