Whitefish racks up All-State football honors

Seven Bulldogs have been selected for the Class A All-State football team, the most of any team in Class A.

On offense, quarterback Luke May, wide receivers Jed Nagler and Jack Streibich, and fullback Chris Park earned the honors.

On defense, inside linebacker Logan Wynn, defensive end Chaffin Ross, and safety Brian FauntLeRoy garnered All-State selections.

Whitefish racked up 21 selections for the Northwest A All-Conference team.

May was selected as most valuable offensive player in the league and Ross as most valuable defensive player.

Bulldogs represented on the All-Conference first team for offense are May at quarterback, Nagler and Streibich at receiver, Park at fullback, FauntLeRoy at running back, tackles Travis Catina and Ross, and kicker Haley Nicholson.

Center Steven Quimby earned second-team honors, and guard Matt Gulbrandson earned honorable mention.

First team on defense are Ross at defensive end, Logan Wynn at inside linebacker, Park at outside linebacker, FauntLeRoy at safety, and May at cornerback.

Second team honors went to Gulbrandson at nose guard, Nagler at defensive end, Streibich at outside linebacker, and Catina at inside linebacker.

Honorable mentions went to Peter Mow at cornerback and Luke Cardon at safety.
