Monday, Aug. 18

6:57 a.m. Suspicious people were sleeping in a wood chip pile off Baker Avenue.

Tuesday, Aug. 19

10:25 a.m. A vehicle stolen from U.S. 93 South was found in Kalispell with the keys left inside.

12:51 p.m. Report of an alleged sexual assault on Spokane Avenue.

9:26 p.m. Report of a suspicious light being shined into a woman’s bedroom window on Ashar Avenue.

Wednesday, Aug. 20

2:59 a.m. An intoxicated man was found passed out on the bike path near Edgewood Place.

5:46 p.m. A huge branch was blocking Lupfer Avenue.

6:13 p.m. A man threatened to shoot a pair of reckless drivers on Tumblehome Avenue if police didn’t take care of them.

8:58 p.m. An extremely intoxicated man on Park Avenue was taken to the hospital.

Thursday, Aug. 21

12:58 a.m. Report of a stolen vehicle on Central Avenue.

9:35 p.m. A group of six men with a bachelor party refused to leave a downtown bar. One man threatened to bash a bouncer’s head into the ground.

Friday, Aug. 22

1:16 a.m. A group of men were fighting in front of a downtown bar. One man possibly had a tire iron. They left in a red mini van.

2:28 p.m. Reports of an employee stealing money from a Spokane Avenue business.

5:56 p.m. A Baker Avenue resident complained about loud cars in the neighborhood. She said they sounded creepy.

10:30 A single gun shot was heard on West 9th Street.

Saturday, Aug. 23

12:59 a.m. Suspicious people were yelling near the Kiddie Park.

3:40 a.m. Report of fireworks on Skyles Place.

1:44 p.m. Large flower pots were moved in front of a Spokane Avenue business. They possibly belonged to a real estate company down the street, but they were too heavy for the caller to move.

3:03 p.m. Report of a homeless woman sleeping near the library for a few nights. The woman was told to move along. She left her sleeping bag and other items behind and the reporting caller put them in the trash. The woman returned an hour later and removed her belongings from the trash.

5:29 p.m. Three boys and three girls were riding their bikes into traffic on Spokane Avenue. One of the riders crashed into traffic. They were reportedly telling people to “go [expletive] themselves.”

Sunday, Aug. 24

2:56 a.m. Three intoxicated men downtown were swearing and screaming at the top of their lungs. They told police they were sorry and moved on.

6 p.m. A sign was stolen on Baker Avenue.

8:12 p.m. A business owner on Spokane Avenue was having trouble with a neighbor that kept yelling at her in front of her children.
