Monday, July 28

8:11 a.m. Transients were seen camping near the river in some bushes off West 2nd Street.

8:20 a.m. Report of a couple arguing over who has custody of a dog on Waverly Place.

8:56 a.m. A large amount of trash and malt liquor bottles were found along the river.

10:50 a.m. A Kalispell Avenue resident claimed his girlfriend stole his TV and other stuff.

12:52 p.m. A wallet, GPS unit, gift certificate and other items were stolen from a vehicle on Vista Drive.

5:07 p.m. A machete was found by the river near Birch Point Drive.

10:59 p.m. Report of fireworks on Glenwood Road.

Tuesday, July 29

3:40 a.m. Report of an assault on Park Avenue.

8:49 a.m. A reckless driver nearly hit a child on a skateboard and a parked car on East 2nd Street.

9:43 a.m. A Columbia Avenue resident reported her flowers were pulled out and thrown.

12:25 p.m. Report of a silver Audi that hit a fence on West 2nd Street then drove away when confronted.

11:28 p.m. A man riding his bike on Iowa Avenue was forced to jump into some bushes when several people stared yelling and chasing him in their vehicle.

6:39 a.m. Report of a stolen mountain bike on Highway 93 South.

9:30 a.m. A mini excavator was stolen from the Highway 93 West construction project.

11:01 a.m. Report of a black lab with a cone on its head standing on the roof of a duplex on Creekwood Drive. The dog owner rescued the pooch.

4:47 p.m. Report of a scruffy man in a van parked at a church on Kalispell Avenue.

5:08 p.m. An attempted burglary reported on Pine Avenue. A window was shattered.

5:17 p.m. Report of a stolen bike on Somers Avenue.

11:41 p.m. A youth attempted to use a fake ID at a downtown bar.

11:50 a.m. Report of an extremely intoxicated man on Central Avenue.

12:12 p.m. Report of a person on a jet ski riding too closely to paddleboarders on the lake.

2:53 p.m. A man missing his front teeth reportedly made sexual advances to employees at a store downtown. The man reportedly said sexual things about getting on a couch.

11:21 a.m. Two intoxicated women were arguing downtown.

Friday, Aug. 1

11:34 a.m. A woman told police she missed her tee time because traffic was backed up due to the road construction on U.S. 93 West. She said a lot of people were upset.

3:18 p.m. A gate on Mountainside Drive was busted open.

11:44 p.m. A pizza delivery driver’s vehicle was stolen. It was later found on State Park Road.

11:47 p.m. Report of fireworks on Birch Hill Drive.

Saturday, Aug. 2

2:42 a.m. A man was found passed out on Central Avenue.

3:14 a.m. An intoxicated man on U.S. 93 South was trying to find his vacation home in town.

9:46 a.m. A man reported that he believes someone slipped drugs into his wife’s food. He had video of how his wife was acting.

3:14 p.m. A woman at a Colorado Avenue apartment reportedly pushed a boy who bumped his head.

10:16 p.m. Report of a suspicious man with a mohawk in cutoff shorts on Wisconsin Avenue.

Sunday, Aug. 3

1:38 a.m. Two men smashed a beer can on a vehicle, damaging the mirror.

9:39 a.m. Report of young girls being harassed on Park Avenue.

4:04 p.m. Report of an elderly woman lying in an alley next to a building downtown. The reporting caller first thought she was a statue, but then believed she might be dead. The woman was just taking a nap.

11:34 p.m. Report of 14 intoxicated Canadians streaking on U.S. 93 South.

3:27 a.m. Report of seven gun shots on Houston Point Drive.
