Love leads Cats at Libby Invitational

Gabe Love led the Columbia Falls boys golf team last week at the Libby Invitational.

Love shot a 88 to take fourth at the Sept. 20 tournament at the Cabinet View Golf Course. As a team, the Wildcats shot 401 while Polson shot 356 for the win.

On the girls side, Baylee Brinton shot 112 to lead the girls. The Wildkats shot 517. Polson won with 366.

Other scores were not available.

On Monday, the team competed in a junior varsity match in West Glacier.

Brinton led the girls with a 104. Britney Cotton shot a 109, and Olivia Peterson shot a 120.

On the boys side, Grant Wallace and Joey Tamburelli both shot 98s.

Columbia Falls opens divisional play in Whitefish on Thursday.
