Columbia Falls High School counselors will present their annual “College Planning Night” for seniors and their parents in the high school’s Little Theatre on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m.

Counselors will provide information on process and deadlines as well as how to choose a school, the importance of college visits, how to apply and financial resources.

“College planning is not usually a simple process,” counselor Linda Kaps said. “Even families who are veterans at sending their children to college are finding constant changes in the process.”

Students considering post-secondary education, including vocational and technical schools, community college and four-year college or university education, will benefit from this program. But time is short, Kaps noted.

“Once students enter their senior year, not much time is left to make plans and take advantage of the opportunities offered,” she said.

A resource packet will be available to those in attendance. For more information, contact one of the high school counselors at 892-6500 ext. 230.
