More than 100 opera lovers enjoyed a stunning broadcast of “Tosca” through The Met: Live in HD program at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center on Saturday.

This compares to only 24 people in Orlando, Fla., who attended the broadcast — three of which were sleeping!

Even more amazing was the “Tosca in 3 Minutes” performance put on before the opera by some rather enthusiastic high school actors, singers and instrumentalists. Look for more of these one-of-a-kind creative ventures during the opera season.

When you see teachers Nicole Sanford, Kelliann Blackburn, Jenanne Solberg and Mark McCrady, be sure to thank them for giving our audience an awesome pre-opera experience. You guys rock!!!
