The Glacier Institute is seeking qualified individuals to serve on its board of directors. The board provides strategic direction and oversight of the Institute’s activities and affairs. A board member serves for a term of three years, but may be reappointed to one or more successive terms, and serves without compensation.

The Glacier Institute serves adults and children as an educational leader in the Crown of the Continent ecosystem, emphasizing outreach and field-based learning experiences. It provides an objective, science-based understanding of the area's ecosystem and it interactions with people. Marking its 30th year of educational programs, the Glacier Institute is a long-time educational partner with Glacier National Park, Flathead National Forest, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, and Flathead Valley Community College. The Institute offers family programs, youth science adventure camps, Discovery School at the Big Creek Outdoor Education Center and adult educational programs.  More information about the Institute is provided online at http://www.glacierinstitute.org.

If you are interested in serving on the board, please call the Glacier Institute at (406) 755-1211 or send an email to register@glacierinstitue.org.
