Belton after hours

The Belton Chalet in West Glacier will host the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce’s business after-hours social on Thursday, May 30, from 5-7 p.m. There will be dining discounts that night.

Eagles Club

The North Valley Eagles 4081 Auxiliary will serve sloppy joes and salads on Thursday, May 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $5 per plate. The money will be used for various charitable activities. The public is welcome. For more information, call 892-4081.

Free meals

The Columbia Falls Community Kitchen will serve free hot meals in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Columbia Falls on Tuesday through Friday, May 28-31, at 6 p.m.

Garage sale

The North Valley Senior Center, 205 Nucleus Avenue, in Columbia Falls, will hold their annual garage sale on Friday and Saturday, June 14-15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a fundraiser for the senior center. For more information, call 892-4087.

A free Montana Superhost statewide seminar, “Rockin’ to the Rhythm of Service,” sponsored by the Montana Office of Tourism, will be presented at the Truby’s at Meadow Lake Resort restaurant on June 6 from 9 a.m. to noon. Kids quilt class

The Teakettle Quilters Guild will offer a quilt class for kids 10 through 14 years old in the Columbia Falls High School home economics rooms on Monday through Thursday, June 10-13. A lap size quilt will be completed by each youth. All fabric, supplies and supervision will be provided by Teakettle Quilters Guild. Motorcycles

The second annual S.M.E.G. Motorcycle Show will take place at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Expo Building on Saturday, June 1, from noon to 7 p.m. with custom motorcycles, classic bikes, brand new models, a swap meet, a riding apparel fashion show, live music, a bike rodeo, brews and a barbecue.
