Boat inspection workers wanted

Join a growing team of trained local volunteer boat inspectors and

learn to inspect watercraft, educate the public on the looming threat

of aquatic invasive species, and protect our lakes! Instructor Heidi

Lakers and Certified Level 2

Watercraft Inspector. Last year, volunteers inspected over 100 boats!

At the training you will:

• Receive instruction on how to inspect all different types of

watercraft

• Learn about different aquatic invasive species and how they are

transported

• Gain tools and knowledge to “spread the message, not the

mussel!”

• Have the opportunity to sign up for inspection station shifts this

summer

Two training sessions offered:

9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 1st at the Ferndale Community Center, Bigfork

9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8th at Captain’s Marine, Kalispell
