For stand-alone City Hall

Whitefish citizens are now awaiting the decision on the impact of a massive parking structure on the site of our new City Hall. The vote should come on May 20.

The design of a new City Hall has been pushed to the back burner and will eventually come from the architectural competition as decided by the City Hall Planning Committee.

I am giving my support to a stand-alone City Hall with adjacent surface parking. Whitefish deserves a forward-looking City Hall that can become the most important element in the fabric of the town, a structure that we all can be proud of. It will be here for the next century.
