Patricia Ann McBride

Memorial services for Patricia Ann McBride, 76, of Bigfork, formerly of Ada, Okla., are 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ada. Rev. John D. Norvell will officiate. A memorial service will also be held in the summer at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Bigfork.

Mrs. McBride died Monday, Feb. 25, at an Ada hospital. She was born May 16, 1936 at San Bernardino, Calif. to Kenneth and Dorothy Cox Kelly. She graduated from Pacific High School.

She married Dr. Douglas McBride on May 7, 1976. They were married for 37 years. Mrs. McBride was very active playing golf, fly fishing, camping and boating, and selling real estate. She was active in Relay for Life at its onset in Bigfork and had the honor of being the Grand Marshal in 2009. Mrs. McBride was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Douglas McBride, of the home; three children, Michael McBride and his wife Kristi of Dallas, Texas, Kathy Vance of Ada, Okla., and Julie Henry and her husband Steve of Ada, Okla.; three step-children, Jeff McBride of Hawaii, Tracie McBride of Boise, Idaho, and Kim McBride of Powell Butte, Ore.; a sister, Susan Kelly of Redlands, Calif.; brother-in-law, Mike McBride of Indio, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandchildren, Matthew McBride and Samantha Vance.
