Jeffrey Chapman

Jeffrey L. Chapman, 49, of West Brooklyn, Ill. died Feb. 23, 2013, in his home.

He was born April 25, 1963, in Mendota, Ill., to Donald Chapman and Mary Kay (Swope) Evans. He married Joyce O’Brien on June 2, 1998, in Litchfield, Ill. He was a cook and farmer.

He is survived by his wife; three stepchildren, Virginia Shoultz and husband Rich, of Litchfield, Ill., John O’Brien and wife Michelle, of Raymond, Ill., and Dawn Woolard, of Mendota, Ill.; 12 step grandchildren; 15 step great grandchildren; his mother Mary Kay Evans, of Coram; brother Timothy Evans, of Columbia Falls; seven sisters, Kimberly Bialas and husband Michael, Denise Chapman and husband Edward Culver, Wanda Winters and husband Scott, Candy Changler and husband Greg, Tona Brier and husband Lonnie, Tora Powell and husband Tony, and Lavina Nelson and husband Doug.

A memorial service took place at Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, Ill. on Feb. 27, 2013. Burial followed at Greenfield Cemetery, LaMoille, Ill.
