Two Columbia Falls High School graduates have signed letters of intent to compete with the University of Great Falls track and field teams this fall, according to head coach Bill Brist.

Angela Tamburelli was an All-Conference Selection in track and field in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and was All-State as part of the 400 meter relay team in 2012. She was also an Academic All-State in track and field in 2012, and made the honor roll all four years in high school. She plans to major in pre-physical therapy/health and human performance.

Tessa Cowan graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 2011. She ran a personal best of 20:56 for three miles while part of the Wildkat cross-country team and will be part of the University of Great Falls cross-country team in addition to her track duties. Cowan will enter as a transfer from the University of Montana, where she was a student this past spring.
