Swan Ecosystem hosts native plant specialist

Swan Ecosystem Center will host native plant specialist Kathy Settevendemie June 19 at the USFS Condon Work Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program will include native plant identification, benefits of growing native plants and landscaping with native plants.  Also included is a visit to the Work Center’s native plant garden and an opportunity to purchase plants from the Blackfoot Native Plant Nursery, which is located in Potomac. Please visit the nursery’s website to learn more about Kathy’s work, www.blackfootnativeplants.com. On Saturday in Missoula, you will find Kathy at the Clark Fork River Market with dozens of plant species for sale.

If you have not considered native plants before and would like to know more, if you have questions about your present native plant project, or if you have success to report, do not miss this brown bag lunch/native plant workshop .
