Monday, May 27

9:07 p.m. A woman was concerned for her safety after her husband threatened to not let her back into the house if she left. The woman needed advice on how to keep the peace.

Tuesday, May 28

7:26 a.m. A man carrying a garbage bag was seen busting out the window of an SUV parked by the depot. He was seen stuffing his pockets with stuff. The man was breaking into his own vehicle.

9:15 a.m. Money and keys were reported stolen from the middle school.

12:14 p.m. A woman reported a man on Wisconsin Avenue who was being disrespectful and scaring her children.

12:49 p.m. A man at the train depot thought he may have been drugged.

Wednesday, May 29

10:08 a.m. Drug activity was reported on East 7th Street.

4:22 p.m. A spat between a boyfriend and girlfriend was reported at the depot. The couple had just broken up. The woman threw her keys at the man and threatened to beat him up.

6:29 p.m. An engagement ring was reported stolen from Spokane Avenue.

Thursday, May 30

7:22 a.m. Trees at Smith Fields were damaged after a vehicle accident.

3:23 p.m. A red bike was pulled out of the river.

11:40 p.m. A caller was concerned about an intoxicated couple with a small child at a bar on U.S. 93 South. The couple decided to get a ride home.

Friday, May 31

2 a.m. Police were looking for a mountain lion on Wisconsin Avenue.

6:23 a.m. A mountain lion was spotted on Prairie Smoke Circle in the Iron Horse neighborhood. 

9:18 a.m. A man was camping in a park near the river. A woman walking her dog felt unsafe.

9:42 a.m. A smoke bomb was found in the bushes on Baker Avenue.

1:10 p.m. Money and a disability card were reported stolen from Wisconsin Avenue.

2:35 p.m. A woman asked for extra patrol to protect her from a bipolar man off his meds.

5:36 p.m. A disgruntled employee with a security company refused to turn over his Glock 19 handgun.

6:32 p.m. A resident on East 2nd Street was cussed out by a telemarketer.

11:47 p.m. A vehicle was reported stolen from Central Avenue.

Saturday, June 1

2:35 a.m. Up to 10 people were fighting on Central Avenue. They loaded up into a taxi with police arrived on scene.

4:57 a.m. A man on Lakeside Blvd. said he was attacked and choked by a friend.

1:11 p.m. Vehicles were egged on Somers Avenue.

10:04 p.m. Loud music was reported on Wisconsin Avenue.

Sunday, June 2

1:56 a.m. Two men in motorcycle vests were harassing people on Central Avenue and jumping on the bumper of an SUV.

3:56 a.m. A delivery man was being followed by two women.

6:21 p.m. A resident had a tip about the recent string of thefts in Whitefish.

8:16 p.m. A verbal dispute between a man and woman was reported on Aspen Court.
