Rae McMaster

Rae Karolyn McMaster, 65, of Kalispell, passed away peacefully at her home on March 12, 2013, after a long battle with cardiovascular disease.

She was born in Valley City, N.D., on Nov. 13, 1948. She graduated from Columbia Falls High School and received an associate of arts degree from Flathead Valley Community College. She worked for more than 20 years as a dispatcher for the city of Columbia Falls and the Flathead County Sheriff’s Department.

Rae is survived by her son Kevin McMaster and wife Heather and children Tasja and Adrian; siblings Tom Carlson, of Tampa, Fla., Vernon Carlson, of Williston, N.D., and Paula Robinson, of Columbia Falls; and many more beloved family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held for family members in June.

Memorials may be given to the Flathead County Animal Shelter.
