Connie Einarson

| July 23, 2013 10:44 AM

Connie (Compson) Einarson, 62, died July 17, 2013, at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Connie was born in Mason, W. Va. During her childhood, she lived in many different parts of the United States and for a time in India.

She moved to Columbia Falls in her sophomore year of high school, where she met her husband Terry Einarson. They were married on Nov. 3, 1969, and two children soon followed, Deana (Einarson) Thomas and Jesse Einarson.

Connie was fiercely devoted to her family, and spending time with the people she loved was her one true joy in life. She enjoyed Saturdays (or any other day) on the pontoon boat, camping in the motor home, golfing and rides in “the little black car” — particularly if those rides took her down the Oregon coast.

Connie is preceded in death by her father, Robert Compson.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 43 years Terry Einarson; son Jesse Einarson and wife Naomi, of Columbia Falls; daughter Deana Thomas and husband Shawn and their daughter Danica, of Helena; sister Linda Zuspan and husband Bill, of Mason, W.Va.; brother Wilbur Compson and wife Pat, of Great Falls; mother Mildred Compson, of Mason, W.Va.; and many much loved nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial services will be held for Connie at Glacier Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Pete Erikson officiating.
