A woman on Larch Lane in the Columbia Falls area grabbed a gun and threatened to shoot after her dogs attacked a neighbor’s dogs.

A man on Eckelberry Dr. in the Columbia Falls area talked to a neighbor about getting their dogs to know each other after the dogs fought.

A woman reported the hood on her vehicle flying open as she drove down Nucleus Ave. after a man unlatched it in the parking lot at Smith’s Foods in Columbia Falls.

10:27 p.m. Dylan Rohletter, 20, Columbia Falls, was arrested on U.S. 2 near Super 1 Foods in Columbia Falls and charged with DUI, MIP, stop sign violation and seat belt violation.

June 26

A man who reportedly owed $34,830 on a bond for child support was seen at the Moccasin Ck. river access site but allowed to stay free because the jail was full.

An employee at a West Glacier business reported his suspicions that a man carrying a brown sleeping bag had been smoking crack in the rest room. The man was located at the Moccasin Ck. river access site.

12:41 p.m. Report of a separated wife stealing items from a husband on Martha Rd.

5:16 p.m. An inebriated man on Nucleus Ave. in Columbia Falls called for a police detective to give him a ride home. He promised to show the detective some things along the way.

9:24 p.m. Report of a bartender joining a fight at the Columbia Bar in Columbia Falls.

June 27

A Hungry Horse man contacted the sheriff’s office about a shotgun he loaned to a friend several years earlier. The friend later used it to assault someone. The sheriff’s office said the shotgun was not mentioned in the police report.

10:57 a.m.  A woman reported being sexually assaulted on Nucleus Ave. in Columbia Falls on June 24.

2:14 p.m. Report of a man threatening to commit suicide on Karen Rd. in Columbia Falls.

2:39 p.m. Report of an assault at an apartment complex on Seventh St. West.

June 28

A man was reportedly assaulted in a Glacier National Park parking lot by a woman wielding a pipe.

8:17 a.m. An elderly woman on C St. East North in Columbia Falls reported finding a black device with wiring laying in her yard that was used to contact police.

June 29

An inebriated woman who reportedly stumbled out onto Nucleus Ave. in Columbia Falls and was nearly hit by a vehicle later called police to complain about the driver.

9:25 a.m. A caller informed the Columbia Falls police that wildlife traps had been set in the city’s River’s Edge Park and a beaver was caught in one. The city manager said the parks department hired someone to trap beavers because they were causing damage.

9:38 a.m. A broken Plum Creek water line was blamed for flooding the green box site in Columbia Falls.

12:53 p.m. Report of a man throwing a kitten through the window of a green Chevrolet pickup truck on Crescent Dr. in Columbia Falls.

4:39 p.m. Report of people littering as they cleaned out the Teakettle Vista apartments on 12th Ave. West in Columbia Falls.

June 30

2:04 a.m. Three juvenile males in dark clothing carrying skateboards were seen near the Gateway Elementary School in Columbia Falls.

9:40 a.m. A tenant on Talbott Rd. reported being harassed by a landlord.
