Hamilton Gibson

Hamilton A. “Hoot” Gibson, age 71, passed away Jan. 20, 2013, in Whitefish after a short battle with esophageal cancer.

He was known as “Hoot” to his friends and “Billy” to his siblings.

He is survived by three sisters, Eletha Brown, of Bellevue, Wash., Sylvia Thomsen, of Seattle, Wash., and Shirley Sanders, of Marble City, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews and cousins, including special niece Kari Wagner, of Kalispell.

The family appreciates all the help from “Hoot’s” friend Jim Bellmore, in Columbia Falls.

At his request, there will be no services. Special thanks to the staff of Whitefish Care and Rehab and Frontier Hospice for their care of him during his last few months.
