Meadow Lake Resort will present a request for a planned-unit development (PUD) overlay during the Columbia Falls City-County Planning Board’s Tuesday, Jan. 15, meeting.

The resort’s request calls for amending the existing CB-1 business and CRA-1 residential zoning that includes a conditional-use permit allowing seven 10-plexes and replacing it with a PUD allowing 14 four-plex condominium buildings.

The 7.14-acre site is located off St. Andrew’s Drive, east of the hotel and clubhouse and north of the golf course’s 15th fairway. A subdivision request accompanying the PUD calls for creating 15 lots, with 14 used for the 14 four-plexes and the 15th lot used for a hotel with 30 units.

The planning board will review the request in the city council chambers in city hall at 6:30 p.m. The Columbia Falls City Council will hear the request in the city council chambers on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m.
