Esther Boreson

Esther Marie Boreson, 91, passed away at her home in Whitefish on Dec. 21, 2012.

She was born in Watford City, N.D., on March 20, 1921, the youngest of eight children, to parents Odin and Bertha Berntson.

She met and married Bud Sax and resided in Williston, N.D. Later she moved to Whitefish where she met and married Vernon Boreson.

She is survived by brothers Robert Berntson and Allen Berntson; sister Karen; children Jerry Sax and wife Debbie, of Hanover, Pa., Linda Puryer and husband Bucky, of Eureka, Leon Sax and wife Nancy, of Columbia Falls, Cindy Prescott and husband Robert, of Kalispell, Vernell Drollinger and husband Randy, of Kalispell, Alden Boreson, of Kalispell, and Susan Kelly and husband Curt, of Kalispell; and numberous nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A celebration of life took place at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home on Dec. 29, 2012.
