Police calls: Unmanned vehicle crashes into house

Monday, Dec. 9

2:31 p.m. A Ford Escape was in the ditch off JP Road.

Tuesday, Dec. 10

3:04 a.m. Police took an intoxicated woman home.

9:51 a.m. Glass bottles were in the middle of Dakota Avenue.

9:51 a.m. Neighbors were in a dispute about where to shovel snow.

2:56 p.m. Report of a vehicle that slipped into gear and crashed into a house on Minnesota Avenue. The door was ripped off the car and windows were smashed on the house.

2:56 p.m. Police responded to the middle school for a disorderly student.

Wednesday, Dec. 11

9:58 a.m. A deer was stuck on an iron fence on Wisconsin Avenue. The food bank was notified.

4:28 p.m. A woman asked police to remove her husband from her home after he reportedly took all of her grocery money.

6:47 p.m. A caller was concerned about her boyfriend who was recently released from a hospital in California. The man is a kite surfer and the woman said he tore out all his stitches and refused to go back to the hospital.

6:49 p.m. A resident on Kalispell Avenue found a black lab tied to her carport. The dog had no microchip or tags and was taken to the county animal shelter.

Thursday, Dec. 12

8:44 a.m. A man in a motorized wheelchair was stuck in a snow berm on Baker Avenue. The man was fine, but said he does get stuck from time to time.

9:21 a.m. A Buick reported stolen was found over an embankment behind the elementary school.

12:30 p.m. Officers were asked to speak with a student about his behavior.

5:56 p.m. A wallet full of credit cards was found in a Dumpster on Baker Avenue.

11:20 p.m. A woman returned to her home on Baker Avenue to find items moved around. A large chest was blocking the back door.

Friday, Dec. 13

11:10 a.m. A possible case of cyber bullying was reported at the middle school.

11:40 a.m. A service dog named Mama was on the loose near Baker Avenue.

4:44 p.m. Report of aggressive dogs on Colorado Avenue that are not fenced or on a leash.

8:39 p.m. Report of a possible domestic dispute on Columbia Avenue. A woman said her husband grabbed her hair.

Saturday, Dec. 14

6:50 a.m. Report of two young boys throwing rocks at cars on Spokane Avenue. The kids were actually throwing snowballs.

9:35 a.m. Two shotguns and a rifle were reported stolen from a garage on Idaho Avenue.

1:36 p.m. A resident on Columbia Avenue was concerned about her neighbor’s car being towed while they were out of town. She said they are new to town and don’t know about the plowing rules. She wanted to know what she could do to help them.

5:43 p.m. A cold wiener dog was found on East 7th Street.

Sunday, Dec. 15

12:30 a.m. Report of coats and purses stolen from a bar downtown. The alleged suspect fled the scene after being confronted by a bouncer.

3:50 a.m. Report of a man on Lenna Joy Drive seen walking down the road in womens underwear. He was last seen getting into a pickup truck.

5:39 a.m. Report of an abandoned Land Rover with a busted windshield and airbags deployed in the ditch on Big Mountain Road.

10:10 a.m. An unleashed dog on Aspen Court charged a woman while she was on her morning walk.

1:32 p.m. A wallet and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle on East 2nd Street.

Monday, Dec. 16

12:05 a.m. A group of intoxicated people in a Suburban were making noise and honking a horn on Colorado Avenue.

5:29 a.m. Report of two men who used a camera flash to blind a driver on West 2nd Street. The driver confronted the men and asked them what their problem was.
