Monday, Dec. 3

12:22 p.m. Report of theft from a vehicle on Colorado Avenue.

12:53 p.m. A suspicious man who was sweating profusely reportedly said inappropriate things to a manager at a care facility on River Lakes Parkway. The man was wearing a “hostile bracelet.” He was reportedly pulled off the train earlier in the day.

1:02 Report of a burglary on Dakota Avenue. A door was damaged and $400 was missing.

Tuesday, Dec. 3

8:12 a.m. A man in Columbia Falls reported missing $55 from a duffle bag after visiting the hospital.

9:36 p.m. A resident dropped off a plate of holiday goodies at the police station and thanked the officers for their good service.

Wednesday, Dec. 4

5:47 p.m. A Subaru, Toyota pickup and Chevy pickup were involved in a fender-bender on Baker Avenue.

Thursday, Dec. 5

12:10 a.m. Report of a fight in front of a bar downtown.

12:29 a.m. Report of another fight in front of a bar downtown. This time one man was arrested.

8:28 a.m. Report of kids playing on ice near Spokane Avenue.

12:44 p.m. Report of dogs dragging a deer carcass down Somers Avenue.

1:48 p.m. A boyfriend was kicking the door of a home on Colorado Avenue after he was asked to leave.

Friday, Dec. 6

9:19 a.m. A high strung man who was arrested asked police to return his medication.

3:11 p.m. Report of a panhandler with a dog on U.S. 93 South. A woman said it was too cold for the dog to be outside.

6:40 p.m. Report of items stolen from a storage unit on Bativia Lane.

10:30 p.m. A woman was concerned about a dog left in a cold truck on Central Avenue.

Saturday, Dec. 7

1:08 a.m. Report of an underage party on Karrow Avenue. Police responded and found only adults. The party was shutting down.

8:47 a.m. Report of residents on Mountain Park Drive shooting at deer in their yard at night. A neighbor reported hearing gun shots at midnight and seeing the bodies of deer in the yard. Fish, Wildlife and Parks was notified.

11:14 p.m. A broken water line under a sidewalk on Central Avenue was gushing like a fountain.

6:19 p.m. Report of a fist fight on Central Avenue.

6:58 p.m. Report of a woman who stole $800 worth of gear from a store on U.S. 93 South.

10:03 p.m. An ash tray was dumped on Baker Avenue and the bottom half was stolen.

11:53 p.m. Report of two men on Central Avenue fighting with broken bottles. One person was hit by a bottle, but later went back into the bar.

Sunday, Dec. 8

2:12 a.m. A purse, cutting shears and a coat were stolen from an unlocked car on Central Avenue.

3:35 a.m. Report of a suspicious pile of clothes in the corner of a parking lot. It may have been related to vehicle break-ins.

3:45 a.m. A Buick was reported stolen from Central Avenue.

12:15 p.m. A Ford Escort was reported stolen from a parking lot on Central Avenue while the owner was at a show downtown.

4:47 p.m. A mailbox was smashed on Whitefish Avenue.

4:51 p.m. A radio, iPod, statue, and coins were stolen from an unlocked car left running on East 1st Street.
