Police calls: Zombies raid pantry on Stumptown Loop

Monday, Nov. 25

11 a.m. Three loose pit bulls were chasing deer by the river.

12:28 p.m. A German shepherd with a history of killing chickens was loose on Colorado Avenue.

4:14 p.m. A bag of plumbing tools was found in the middle of East 3rd Street.

5:53 p.m. Report of a stabbing at a home on O’Brien Avenue.

7:46 p.m. Report of a verbal disturbance between roommates on Washington Avenue. One woman accused another of grabbing her face.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

1:40 p.m. A woman left her house on Washington Avenue while her roommate picked up his stuff. She said she returned to find that the roommate had stolen some rims, cash, her dog, broke a computer and trashed the house.

3:07 p.m. People were seen walking on thin ice near River Lakes Drive.

5:15 p.m. Report of a vicious dog on Colorado Avenue running loose trying to bite people.

6:51 p.m. Report of a dog that lunged at a man and showed his teeth.

9:32 p.m. A Stumptown Loop resident reported that items in the home were moved around and containers of food left on the counter. The door was open and on the front step there was a brochure that said, “Can the dead live again?” Extra patrol was requested.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

5:35 p.m. A suspicious person was seen looking into cars on Spokane Avenue.

5:50 p.m. Fire sprinklers were flooding a maintenance shop on Iron Horse Drive.

11:50 p.m. Report of a woman who was seen getting out of a car on Texas Avenue with a rifle. It was actually a newspaper delivers person with a laser pointer on a flashlight.

Thursday, Nov. 28

11:30 a.m. Report of a reckless driver on West 9th Street speeding through alleys. A younger passenger was seen jumping out and throwing phone books at houses.

Friday, Nov. 29

2:28 a.m. Report of a woman who dialed 911 to prove a point to her boyfriend.

7:29 p.m. Report of a man who stole poker chips from a bar on Central Avenue.

11 p.m. Report of a fight in the back of a bar on Central Avenue. One man’s wallet was missing.

Saturday, Nov. 30

12:08 a.m. A landlord and tenant were aggressively arguing on Dakota Avenue. Both had been drinking.

12:10 a.m. Report of a man with bloody knuckles who broke a glass door at a store on U.S. 93 South.

2:53 p.m. Report of an elderly woman who made threats and swung her bag at another woman on Central Avenue. A young boy was traumatized by the situation.

Sunday, Dec. 1

12:10 p.m. Harassment was reported on Karrow Avenue.

12:38 p.m. Report of tires slashed and a window egged on West 4th Street.

7:12 p.m. A passport and camera were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Baker.
