Support the dog park

The past month or so I have become a semi-regular, or I should say, my three dogs and I have become semi-regulars at the WAG dog park. I’ve always appreciated that it was a great place as I drive by daily on my way to or from my home, and just like seeing all the different dogs and people enjoying themselves.

Now that we’re also enjoying it, I want to put out a suggestion.

There is a donation box at the main entrance and there are envelopes to put in that box with a contribution to help keep the dog park running.

I’m hoping that those of us who frequent the park will put a couple of bucks or more in the box now and then. Even those of us who don’t go as often, or people visiting Whitefish, drop a couple of bucks in the box.

If we all did so, now and then, it would add up pretty quickly and go toward a great place that provides a great service to those of us on two feet, and maybe more importantly, those on four feet.
