Glacier Twins season kick-off events

On April 14 the community is encouraged to help put up the multi-panel outfield fencing at the Glacier Twins baseball field at Memorial Park in Whitefish on Sunday, April 14, beginning at 9 a.m. Water, coffee and donuts will be available for volunteers.

The Twins’ annual baseball camp for kids will be conducted at Memorial Park on Saturday, April 20, with a morning session for ages 6-12 from 10 a.m. to noon and two afternoon sessions for ages 13-15 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

The annual Black and White Game between the A and B teams will take place at Memorial Park on Sunday, April 21, beginning at 6 p.m. A pot luck dinner will be held at 4 p.m. for players, parents and community.

Practice sessions are now underway for the Glacier Twins. Anyone ages 16-19 who is interested in playing baseball this summer for the Glacier Twins can contact head coach Bob Rupp at 890-3742.
