Wilderness artists to be presented

The Flathead National Forest, the Hockaday Museum of Art, the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation and the Swan Ecosystem Center will host “Forest Inspirations: An Extension of the Artist-Wilderness-Connection Program” at Flathead Valley Community College’s Arts and Technology Building on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 5 p.m. to present their 2011 program artists: Columbia Falls quilter and fabric artist Salena Beckwith, Whitefish artist Andrea Brew and Bigfork photographer Lauren Grabelle.

There will be light refreshments, live music by Porter Creek, and slide presentations by Grabelle about her stay at Granite Cabin in the Great Bear Wilderness and Beckwith about her stay at Pentagon Cabin in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
