Kats lose to cross-valley rival

The Columbia Falls volleyball team had a tough time against Whitefish on Sept. 6, losing in straight games, 25-21, 26-24 and 25-8.

Tiffany Hummer led the Wildkats with nine digs, and Hope Burlage had five kills, but overall the Lady Bulldogs had 31 kills, while the Kats had 14.

The girls were scheduled to play Polson on Tuesday after presstime. Later this week, they travel to Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho, for a tournament there.
