The Columbia Falls volleyball team wrapped up their regular season with a loss to the Frenchtown Lady Broncs, 25-17, 25-17, 25-18.

The Oct. 26 away match left the Wildkats with a 2-6 divisional record heading into the Northwest Class A tournament this weekend in Frenchtown. The Kats have been on the road since Oct. 4.

“We went out Friday a little flat,” coach Addy Connelly said. “We didn’t take care of the ball when we had the opportunities.”

Hope Burlage had six kills and Tiffany Hummer had 15 digs against the Lady Broncs.

The top two teams in the divisional tournament will advance to the state tourney in Bozeman.

The Kats are scheduled to open the tournament against Frenchtown at 11 a.m. on Friday. Connelly said the Kats will practice hard this week and look to take better care of the ball.
