Glacier Institute to hold online auction

The Glacier Institute is having an online auction to raise funds for youth education programs at the Big Creek Outdoor Education Center from Nov. 15 until Dec. 5. The auction includes gifts, paintings and “Glacier experiences” with bids starting at one dollar.

Marking its 29th year of educational programs, The Glacier Institute is a long-time partner with Glacier National Park, the Flathead National Forest, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and Flathead Valley Community College. They offer family programs, youth science adventure camps, Discovery School at the Big Creek Outdoor Education Center and adult educational programs. The organization has never turned away a child who has requested an educational scholarship in its history and has welcomed over 26,000 Flathead Valley elementary school children to its Discovery School three-day immersion-learning program at the Big Creek Outdoor Education Center.
