Donnie McPheeters

Donnie McPheeters, 53, of Hungry Horse, passed away Oct. 24, 2012, in Hungry Horse, due to an accident.

For 30 years, he had been a commercial crab fisherman in Alaska, the Bering Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.

He was preceded in death in 2004 by his twin brother Ronnie and his mother and father, Anita Corey and Otis McPheeters.

Donnie is survived by his wife Darla; sons Cody and Justin; brothers Walter, Bert and Mel; sister Rennie Christensen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins on the Corey side. He will be dearly missed by his nephews and family.

A celebration of life took place at the Dam Town Tavern in Hungry Horse on Nov. 17, 2012.
