Honor society

Ten area students were among the 56 Flathead Valley Community College students recently inducted into the Alpha Iota Pi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa during the international honor society’s spring induction ceremony. The purpose of the Alpha Iota Pi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is the promotion of scholarship, the development of leadership and service, and the cultivation of fellowship among qualified students of the college. The following students obtained at least 12 credit hours from FVCC while receiving a minimum grade point average of 3.4: Columbia Falls — Hannah Brinton, Monica Hayes, Emily Katzenmeyer, Corey LaChance, Aleena Lukenbill, Aleta McNeely, Cheryll Pitts and Vadim Zvyagelskiy; Hungry Horse — Trevor Brown; and West Glacier — Brittany Deglow.
