Canyon clean-up

Volunteers are needed to help clean up the Canyon along U.S. 2, the Head Start Nature Trail and the Flathead Food Bank’s Martin City Community Garden.

Participants will meet at the Hungry Horse Fire Hall on Saturday May 12, at 9 a.m. A free barbecue will take place in Hungry Horse from 12:30 to 2 p.m. for all volunteers. Participants can also visit with Smokey Bear and enter drawings for a mountain bike and other prizes.

Sponsors for the clean-up day include the Trapline Association, Canyon Foods and other area businesses.
