James Nevins

James M. Nevins, 84, passed away March 17, 2012, of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 23, 1927, in Havre, to Fred and Vera (Buntin) Nevins. He married Earlene Montgomery in 1948, and together they raised three sons.

James was a self-employed equipment operator in the Browning area until his retirement to Columbia Falls.

He is survived by his sons Gary Nevins and wife Joann, of Browning, and Raymond Nevins and wife Marilyn, of Columbia Falls; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers Richard Nevins and wife Maxine, of Yuma, Ariz., and Lester Nevins and wife Judy, of Shelby.

Funeral services were held March 24, 2012, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
