Little Guy Wrestlers at Eureka qualifier

Twelve members of the Columbia Falls Little Guy Wrestling club took first place out of 44 categories at the Unit 1 state qualifier tournament in Eureka on March 10.

This was the first qualifying tournament for Northwest Montana and included teams from Columbia Falls, Whitefish, Kalispell, Libby, Troy and Eureka.

The top four from Beginner and top eight from Novice and Middle went on to compete at the intervalley tournament in Whitefish on March 17 that includes Bigfork, Evergreen and teams from Lake County.

Columbia Falls coaches include Brett Crump, Dave Windauer, Howard Mee, Mike Sweeney, Lucas Sterling, Billy Gustafson, Tien Windauer, Tyler Tyree, Marc Dobson, Don Role, Brian Henderson, Tom Kemppainen, Jamie Green, Chad Green, Mike McPhee, Matt Martin, Shawn Feist, Jeff Peterson and Gary Thomas.
