Ronald Malone

Ronald J. Malone, 79, passed away Feb. 29, 2012, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 12, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Joseph and Marion (Schanberger) Malone.

Ronald served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Irene Boyden in 1955, and moved to Long Island in 1961 to work for American Airlines at JFK for 40-plus years. In 2007, he moved to Columbia Falls, where he spent his final years.

He is survived by his children Susan Straub, of Southold, N.Y., Carolyn Denson, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Amy Sellmann, of Columbia Falls; and eigh grandchildren.

Services will be private.
