Badrock VFD

I would like to heartily commend the Badrock Volunteer Fire Department, an organization comprised of compassionate professionals.

About two weeks ago, I entered my home and was assailed by a strong propane odor. I immediately telephoned 911 and was told to take my dogs and leave the house.

Within moments, the Badrock Fire Department responded, did a thorough check of the entire house, phoned Robert Mack, a master plumber, and together they tested the air quality and took the necessary steps to make the house safe to enter.

The problem was a slow leak in the valve on the outside tank. It is comforting to know that in a frightening and potentially dangerous situation that we are fortunate enough to have caring and knowledgable emergency personnel who will respond to your needs within minutes.

Thank you, Badrock.
