Donald Persicke

Donald R. “Don” Persicke, 48, of Missoula, passed away June 19, 2012 from heart failure at Community Medical Center.

Don was born in Whitefish to Don and Elsie Persicke. He graduated from Whitefish High School in 1981. Don was committed to the love of his life Michelle Erickson, of Missoula.

His hobbies included fishing, camping, skiing and hunting. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Don was a friendly guy who instantly befriended everyone he met. He offered an easy smile and a giving hug to everyone. His greatest pleasures were sharing his love of the outdoors with Michelle and all of his “boys.”

Don is survived by fiancée, Michelle; his boys, Ashtan and Alex and their brother Chase; mother, Elsie; brother, Reg; sister, Judy (Duaine) Rieker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Don; brother, Dennis; and nephew, Eric. A memorial service was held June 23 at Garden City Funeral Home.
