Dean’s list

Two students from Columbia Falls attending Carroll College, in Helena, were named to the dean’s list for the 2012 spring semester. To be included on the dean’s list, a student must receive a 3.5 grade point average or better for the semester and take at least 12 credits. They are Allison Lampman and Nathan Woods. Woods had a 4.0 GPA.

Dean’s list

Four students from the Columbia Falls area were named to the dean’s list and honor roll for the 2012 spring semester at Montana Tech, in Butte — Kelsey DeWit, Jordan Thompson and Nathanial Thompson, of Columbia Falls, and Brandon Hackman, of West Glacier. Hackman was also named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA.

UM scholarship

Kristi Newton, a University of Montana-Missoula junior from Columbia Falls, received a $1,700 Louis F. Kinney Business Scholarship from the UM School of Business Administration. Newton is a 2010 graduate of Columbia Falls High School.
