Thank you Flathead County veterans

The ceremonies this past Memorial Day brought thousands of people together throughout our country.

It was a time, regardless of politics and religion, when people stood together to honor the fallen.  The great human sacrifice requires our reverence and respect, no matter who we are or where we come from.

The high cost of individual suffering will never have a dollar value.  It, too, is beyond politics and religion.

A big thanks goes to the local United Veterans of Flathead County who conducted services around the valley at the various cemeteries.

Their dedication and talents are welcomed each year on Memorial Day and also at many funerals during the year.

As we approach the upcoming Primary Election and the fall General Election, let us remember the freedom of voting we have in this state.

The right to vote is also above politics and religion.

It is another way to honor and respect those who have made it possible for us.
