Metals class

Nine Columbia Falls High School students in Mark Beckwith’s metals class passed the American Welding Society welding certification test for the flat position. Rod Hill came from Flathead Valley Community College to administer the test. The passing students were Kyle Nielsen, Zane Flint, Brendan Moseman, Nate Lentz, Cody Seliger, Kohl Thompson, Alex Mc Cracken, Daniel Barlow and Jacob Click.

Basic training

Army Reserve Pfc. Natasha Woodworth recently graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is a 2009 graduate of Columbia Falls High School.

MSU-Billings grads

Three students from Columbia Falls graduated from Montana State University-Billings on April 26. The are Angela Crystal, bachelor’s in health administration; Todd Horning, bachelor’s in general business; and Molly Mitchell, bachelor’s in general business.
