Kermit Kvigne

Kermit Sigward Kvigne, 87, passed away at the Montana Veterans Home, in Columbia Falls, on June 27, 2012.

He was also a life member of the V.F.W. and the Moose Lodge and was employed at the Arco Aluminum plant in Columbia Falls for 28 years.

Kermit served in the Army from December 1944 to November 1946, with tours in the Philippines and mainland Japan.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Thoring) Kvigne, of Whitefish; daughter Cindy Trusty and husband Larry, of Renton, Wash.; sons Kerry Kvigne and Kelly Kvigne, both of Whitefish; nephew Marlan Kvigne, of San Diego; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service took place at Glacier Memorial Gardens, in Kalispell, on June 30, 2012, with full military honors.
