Mae Thompson

Mae Thompson, 93, died Dec. 24, 2011 at

her home from natural causes. Mae was born Oct. 17, 1918 in Lustre

to Edward G. Brownlee and Nellie Brownlee.

Mae was an avid golfer and a member of

a bowling league for many years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Mae was married to Walter Thompson. Together they owned the Orpheum

Theater in Whitefish.

Mae was preceded in death by her

husband, Walt. Mae is survived by her daughter, Karen Benson and

husband Ken of Missoula; son, Don Thompson and wife Val of Wells,

Nevada; and daughter, Julie Norby of Whitefish.

A private family service will be held

in the summer. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the

Whitefish Fire Department, 275 Flathead Ave. Whitefish, MT.
