Rollins FD appreciates all the community support

As most of you know, the Rollins Volunteer Fire Department upgraded one of their wildland engines last summer. The objectives were safety and operational efficiency. Several gracious supporters made substantial contributions towards this project, especially one in the names of Jerry Winkley and Marvin Nelson.

The department wishes the thank the taxpayers of our fire district and those who made special contributions. Also thanks go out to the efforts of the dedicated fire department volunteers who spent a lot of time and effort on this project.

The truck turned out very well and we are not only proud of it, but grateful that is will enable us to do a better job should we be called upon. We hope the community will be just as proud and excited about this truck as we are. If you would like to see it, please give one of us a call and we will be glad to show it off to you.
