May-Britt Ingeborg “Inga” Klyver

May-Britt Ingeborg “Inga” Klyver, 85, passed away Aug. 21, 2012 at The Springs in Whitefish. She was born on April 12, 1927 in Halmstad, Sweden to Clarence and Signe (Nillsson) Hanson.

Inga moved with her parents and identical twin sister to America when she was seven years old. The family lived in Chicago and Denver before settling in southern California.

Inga met Thomas F. Klyver while they both worked at the Southern California Gas Company and the couple married on Nov. 15, 1951 in Pasadena, Calif. They spent their lives working and raising their family in California before retiring in 1984. Thomas passed away on April 29, 1998 and in April of 2011, Inga moved to The Springs in Whitefish.

Inga is survived by her daughter, Christine Henrich (Dan), of Socita, N.Y.; two sons, Thomas Klyver (Patt Bass), of Whitefish, and John Klyver (Carrie), of Pacifica, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, four great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, and one great-granddaughter on the way.

Inga will be buried with her husband at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif., with services on Sept. 7.
