Honest people do exist

I left my office in Whitefish July 27 on my racing bicycle and headed for home. Little did I know that my bike bag fell off the rack into the middle of the Whitefish viaduct. Inside the case were a business cell phone, cash, credit cards, keys and other items of personal importance.

When I arrived home, I was notified by my receptionist that a young man brought the case into our office. He left before she could get a tablet to jot down his name and telephone number.

I though it important to let the good people of the Flathead Valley know there are still honorable folks within our midst. It would have been easy for this “stranger” to remove my belongings and simply toss the bag away. Instead, he traveled to my law firm and returned everything intact.

I want to take an opportunity to thank this unidentified good Samaritan. If he ever needs a free consultation regarding legal issues of any kind, he is free to call me.
