Glenn Smith

Glenn Earl Smith, 82, passed away July 27, 2012, at his home in Columbia Falls.

He was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Great Falls to Earl Frederick and Lou Marie (Smail) Smith.

In 1956, he met and married Elizabeth Booth in Wibaux, where they started their family. In 1965, they moved to the Flathead Valley. Glenn worked for the Columbia Falls Aluminum Co. and then spent several years as a sawyer.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; daughter Joan Anderson and husband Lloyd, of Whitefish; son Van Smith, of Columbia Falls, sisters Corrine Miller and Frieda Gasse; brothers Dale and Duane Smith; 16 nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at the Whitefish Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Aug. 4, 2012.
