Clean The Falls moves to Friday

Columbia Falls residents and business owners will meet at Glacier Bank on Friday, April 20, at 11 a.m. to begin a half day of spring cleaning around town.

The Clean The Falls and Shred Fest of 2012 will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event was moved from Saturday to Friday to get more participation. Businesses are asked to let their workers get out and clean up their designated areas, while high school students will be let out of school to help out.

Glacier Bank will also have a document-shredding business in their parking lot from 2-4 p.m.

Participants are asked to bring gloves. Glacier Bank will provide garbage bags. Free snacks and refreshments also will be provided.
