The West-side Hungry Horse Reservoir Road remains closed for about 11 miles, from the Hungry Horse Dam to the Lid Creek Campground. Crews have replaced culverts, built retaining walls and completed road substructure repairs, and paving is scheduled to begin Oct. 3.

Areas south of Lid Creek are accessible via the East-side Hungry Horse Reservoir Road. Sites within the first 11 miles, including Doris Creek Boat Launch, Doris Creek Campground, Lost Johnny Point Campground, Lost Johnny Camp Campground and Lid Creek Campground, are only accessible by water, and no services are available at these sites.

In the North Fork, Coal Creek Road No. 317 closed to public use near mile marker 3.5 for about one month starting Oct. 3. Cyclone Creek No. 909, off Hay Creek Road, is an alternate route, but vehicles cannot travel the loop from Big Creek No. 316 to Hay Creek No. 376.
